FAQ
Does Traditional Thai Massage hurt?
While Thai massage involves deep acupressure and stretching, it should not be painful. Our experienced therapists will always ask for your preferred pressure level (soft, medium, or firm). Please let us know if you want us to adjust the strength at any time during your session.
What should I wear during the massage?
For Traditional Thai Massage and Herbal Compress treatments, we provide clean, loose-fitting cotton clothes for you to change into. Because these therapies do not use oil over your whole body, you will stay completely comfortable and won’t need to shower afterward.
What is the difference between the Herbal Balm and Herbal Hot Compress massage?
The Herbal Balm massage uses a soothing ointment rubbed into the muscles to provide a refreshing cooling or warming sensation. The Hot Compress massage uses a steamed bundle of fresh Thai herbs pressed gently along your body to deeply relax muscles with natural heat and healing aromas.
Which massage is best for "office syndrome" or a stiff neck?
If you carry tension from working on a computer or carrying a heavy travel bag, we highly recommend the “Head, Neck, Back & Shoulder Massage.” It focuses entirely on releasing tight knots in your upper body to bring quick, targeted relief.
Can I ask the therapist to focus on specific problem areas?
Absolutely! Before your session begins, please tell your therapist if you want to focus more on your lower back, shoulders, or legs, or if there are any sensitive areas we should avoid. Your treatment is fully customizable.
